It all started with those piano lessons forced down my throat until I was 13. Then I gave it up and taught myself guitar. Determined to write the novelty hit of the year (terrible inability to be serious), but haven't managed it yet. Graduated to keyboards and Cubase but stopped playing much about five years ago. Starting to get back into things again now with ProTools and a banjo.
I haven't put any of my new stuff on because I'm still trying to sell it.
Brian Eno writes new Archers Theme!
Well I wrote this back in the Eighties...

This Year Is Worse

Wrote this on the banjo, then got my old mate John Telfer to do a backing track. My favourite so far.

Breakin My Heart

Professionally recorded country ballad. Singer Lynda Hayes. Co-written and played by Robert Reynolds. This is published, so don't pinch it!

Breakin My Heart - original demo

First recording. Just me and the guitar

Lazy Days

Early Cubase instrumental

Sweet Streets

Instrumental - Tony Armatrading on bass.

Monogamy

Lovely tune - still not sure about the lyrics. See what you think

Russian Rap

Pre-glasnost, and it all came true!

Easy Money

Theme tune to BBC Play for Today 1981

Prince Charles Rap

In many ways still true, but it's very dated now - written when he'd just married Diana.

Raining

Silly song from years ago, but it still makes me smile!
